Inside the 1998 terminal: staff and signs
Walk into Kai Tak's terminal: yellow bilingual signs, red check-in desks, immigration, shops and security staff in blue.
The main terminal block is no longer an empty shell. Pick one of the new Terminal views and you stand inside a 1998 Kai Tak, built from period photos: yellow bilingual signs, red check-in desks, tiled floors, acoustic ceilings and a crowd of staff and passengers.
Where to look
- Departures hall: red check-in desks and flight boards that follow the sim's own schedule
- Departure immigration: the yellow "B" sign, booths and officers
- Shop arcade: bilingual shop signs along the pier corridor
- Gate lounge, ground floor and stairs, arrivals hall (the "Welcome to Hong Kong" banner, baggage claim and customs signs) and front entrance
Staff and signs
Check-in agents, immigration officers and gate agents work their posts. Armed airport security officers in blue uniforms and berets, carrying carbines, stand in pairs near immigration and the arrivals hall. Signs are yellow with black English and Chinese text, as in the photos. All airlines and shops are invented; there are no real names or logos.
The interior is built the first time you pick a Terminal view and is only drawn while one is active, so it costs nothing in normal flying. Look around by dragging.

職員同指示牌
辦理登機職員、入境主任同登機閘口職員喺各自崗位工作。着藍色制服、戴貝雷帽、攜帶卡賓槍嘅機場保安成雙成對企喺入境處同抵港大堂附近。指示牌同相片一樣，黃底黑字，中英對照。所有航空公司同店舖都係虛構，冇真實名稱或標誌。
內部喺你第一次揀Terminal視角先至建，而且淨係喺嗰啲視角先畫出嚟，所以平時飛行唔會食資源。拖動滑鼠就可以四圍望。
