Maintenance apron now matches the flight apron
The dark pavement in front of the hangars is now the same concrete as the rest of the flight apron.
The pavement in front of the hangars was a dark bitumen patch that stood out against the pale concrete of the rest of the flight apron. It is now the same concrete colour, so the maintenance apron and the main apron read as one surface.
What changed
- The maintenance apron in front of the hangars, round the bays and the fenced compound now uses the main apron's concrete colour
- The yellow stripe that marked the old edge of the dark patch is gone
- Hangars, the compound, floodlights and parked maintenance aircraft are unchanged
