Fly Kai Tak in Cantonese: a language toggle on the home screen
A new EN / 粵 button on the home screen switches all of the setup text between English and Cantonese, and remembers your choice.
The home screen now has a language button in the top left, next to Blog. Press 粵 to read every line of the setup screen in Cantonese, and EN to switch back.
What changes
The headline and intro, the mode, aircraft, time and weather choices, the option tick boxes, the Begin descent button and its notes, the Controls list, the data credits and the Contact line all switch to Cantonese. The 啟德機場 title already on the screen stays as it is. Aircraft names appear as 波音 (Boeing) and 空中巴士 (Airbus).
Notes
- The text is written Cantonese, for example 喺 and 嘅, rather than formal written Chinese.
- Your choice is saved in your browser, so the page opens in the language you last used.
- The home screen and the blog both have the toggle and share your choice. The in-flight buttons, the result screen and the ATC radio are still in English.
- Flying is unchanged: the autopilot still lands in every weather preset, and flying with no input still crashes.
首頁左上角、網誌旁邊而家有個語言掣。按粵就可以用廣東話睇設定畫面每一行字，按 EN 就轉返英文。
有咩轉變
標題同簡介、模式、機型、時間同天氣選項、選項剔選框、「開始下降」掣同佢嘅說明、操作列表、數據來源，仲有聯絡一行，全部都轉做廣東話。畫面上原有嘅啟德機場標題保持不變。機型名稱會顯示為波音（Boeing）同空中巴士（Airbus）。
備註
- 文字用書面粵語，例如「喺」同「嘅」，而唔係正式書面中文。
- 你嘅選擇會儲存喺瀏覽器，所以下次開啟頁面就係你上次用嘅語言。
- 首頁同網誌都有呢個掣，並且共用你嘅選擇。飛行中嘅按鈕、結果畫面同空管無線電仍然係英文。
- 飛行表現冇變：自動駕駛喺所有天氣預設都會降落，唔操作仍然會撞機。
