A Concorde Visits Kai Tak
A rare special for plane spotters: a supersonic delta-wing jet lands, parks at stand 6 and departs.
Plane spotters never forgot the days a Concorde came to Kai Tak. It was a rare visit, so in Plane Spotter it is a special: a supersonic delta-wing jet that lands, parks and leaves again.
The visit
Once an hour the special arrives on the active runway, taxis to stand 6 and, about ten minutes later, pushes back and departs. The usual turnaround at that stand skips that slot so nothing is in the way. A toast tells you when it is on approach.
The shape
The model has a slender fuselage, a long ogival delta wing with elevons, four engines in long pods under it and a tall fin. The nose droops for landing and taxi and rises for flight. It lands nose-high and fast, and it climbs steeply after take-off.
On the board
The flight information board shows its arrival and departure as special rows with a gold outline. The airline is made up: no real names or liveries.

外形
模型有修長機身、帶弧形前緣嘅三角翼同升降副翼、機翼下四個長形引擎艙，同埋高高嘅垂直尾翼。降落同滑行時機鼻下垂，飛行時升返起。佢以高機頭、高速度降落，起飛後爬升好陡。
喺資訊板上
航班資訊板會將佢嘅抵港同離港顯示成金色框嘅特別航班。航空公司係虛構嘅，冇真實名稱或塗裝。
