Live stats: how many pilots make it into Kai Tak
A public page that counts every flight on the site: landings, crashes, go-arounds, modes, aircraft, weather and crash causes.
Fly Kai Tak now has a public stats page at flykaitak.com/stats. It counts every flight played on the site: how many pilots tried the approach, how many landed, and how many ended up in the harbour. It is linked from the home screen menu as Stats.
What it shows
- Headline counts: flights started, landing attempts, successful landings, crashes and missed approaches.
- Outcomes per day for the last 30 days, with a table view for screen readers.
- Mode selections: IGS 13 approach, Runway 31, free flight, lessons, the helicopter tour and Plane Spotter.
- Aircraft: how often each type is picked, and flights, landings, crashes and success rate per type.
- Weather and time of day: flights per weather preset, landing success by weather, and day against night.
- Crash causes, landing grades, average and best landing score, touchdown rate, time to land, autopilot landings and lesson uptake.
Early numbers
Counting started on 10 October 2026, so the totals are small for now. The first day already shows how hard Kai Tak is: most landing attempts ended in a crash, and a wingtip striking the ground or catching the water was the most common cause. Check back as the numbers grow.
Privacy
- Counts are anonymous. No names, IP addresses or accounts are stored.
- Only flights played on flykaitak.com are counted.
- Autopilot landings count as landings. Plane Spotter flights count as flights started but never as landing attempts.
Also fixed
The landing grades chart listed grades A to D and F, but the sim grades landings A to E, so E grades were missing from the chart. It now shows A to E.

有啲咩睇
- 主要數字：開始飛行、降落嘗試、成功降落、墜毀同復飛。
- 每日結果：過去 30 日，另有表格版本方便讀屏軟件。

- 機種：每款飛機被揀嘅次數，同埋每款嘅飛行、降落、墜毀同成功率。

- 墜毀原因、降落評級、平均同最高降落分數、觸地下降率、降落所需時間、自動駕駛降落同課程參與。
初期數字
統計由 2026 年 10 月 10 日開始，所以暫時數字好細。第一日已經睇得出啟德有幾難：大部分降落嘗試都以墜毀收場，最常見原因係翼尖撞地或者掂到水。數字慢慢多起嚟，記得返嚟睇下。
私隱
- 數字係匿名嘅，唔會儲存姓名、IP 地址或者帳戶。
- 只計喺 flykaitak.com 上玩嘅飛行。
- 自動駕駛降落都計做降落。Plane Spotter 飛行計做開始飛行，但永遠唔計做降落嘗試。
順便修正
降落評級圖之前列出 A 至 D 同 F，但模擬器係用 A 至 E 評分，所以 E 級冇顯示到。而家改返做 A 至 E。
